What’s a jam – well it ain’t fruit based boys and girls – but it is HOT and SWEET!
NIJFA’s President, Andrew Homzy explains:
Jazz musicians invented the ‘Jam Session’; by the 1920’s there were thousands of dance bands across the land playing the new popular Jazz music.
While some of the music that was related to jazz was HOT – a lot of it was waltzes, ballads and hit parade music – and sounding SWEET.
Come join us for our Midnight Jam at the Dorchester Hotel on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00 pm.
