Skye Douglas Project

The Skye Douglas Project hails from Nanaimo, BC. Their music is both uplifting and contemplative with influences coming mostly from Northern Europe and in particular Norway.  Dean Boland (Skye), did his Masters in Composition with a focus on “Nordic Tone” and this has served as the foundation for this ensemble and its original compositions. They also play music from other composers based in Europe including those of Mathias Eick and the Wasserfuhr Brothers. SDP aspires to be channels of the Spirit to bring peace, hope and joy  and to kindle our imaginations towards beauty and creativity.
