Teighan Couch

Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Teighan moved to Nanaimo at the age of 21 with dreams of becoming a professional jazz vocalist. During her time at VIU, she was a three time recipient for the Burgundy Scholarship Fund for her hard work and dedication to her vocal studies. She is now an accomplished graduate and a fierce musician with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies.
Since graduating, Teighan has been building her performance resume, playing shows from Vancouver to Montreal and giving workshops at Vancouver Island University.
Her debut single and original composition “You Just Can’t Hide” was released this spring and is available on all streaming platforms for your listening pleasure. Teighan has made quite a name for herself in the Nanaimo music scene, regularly selling out shows at local venues such as the Vault Cafe and the Black Rabbit.
